Batasiolo
Batasiolo, is one of the largest privately owned wineries in Piedmont. Located in Langhe Barolo, and owned by the Dolgani family, Batasiolo ownes seven vineyards, that cover over 100 hectacres. Giorgio Lavagna, the long standing oeneologist, makes quality the order of the day, and it shows. Whilst they are famous for their Barolos, each wine they produce has a great overall standard, and there are some real gems in there too.
