Campania, Puglia & Southern Italy
It's surprising up until recently that the Southern Italian areas of Campania and Puglia haven't been as popular as the other more established areas, considering the fabulous climate of the areas. However, recently with modern technology the production and quality of wines have increased, with grapes such as negroamaro, aglianico and primitivo producing some fabulous red wines. They are strong, fruit driven and full of flavour wines.

Campania, Puglia and Southern Italian wines are relatively unknown outside of Italy, but truly represent value for money, with Fattoria Villa Matilde producing some excellent wines.
