The ultimate indulgence, Fourteen is a romantic haven set in the cobbled lanes of Conwy. Behind the sash-windowed cottage exterior, the style is crisp and modern, but deliciously comfortably and cosy.

Everything you need for a luxurious break is included in the cottage from the modern kitchen, and king sized bed, to the steam sauna shower room. But the ultimate indulgence is your very own giant hot tub, housed in a purpose-designed log cabin.

Please note- It is not generally possible to park outside Fourteen due to the narrow Victorian street. We recommend unloading and then parking in one of the numerous public carparks nearby.

Conwy is part of the World Heritage Site that embraces four of Edward I's magnificent fortified towns, a true jewel in North Wales' crown.The town's setting is idyllic - with its bustling quay dangling its toes in the gorgeous Conwy Estuary, framed by the brooding mountains of Snowdonia. It's a place of rare magic and atmosphere.

Turn down the lights and curl up in front of the fire for an evening in. Entertainment? There is a DVD player and stereo, plus a library of discs. Hungry? The modern kitchen is lavishly equipped. And there’s a choice of interesting places to dine in Conwy (plus the best butcher in Wales and a great independent wine merchant, just yards away). Or why not pop up to eat with us at the Groes Inn.

Pure Indulgence

Prepare to be amazed as you step through Fourteen’s back door. An intimate courtyard awaits you with a deck, table and chairs that are delightful for alfresco wining and dining. But the ultimate indulgence is your very own giant hot tub, housed in a purpose-designed log cabin. We keep the water at a constant 37°C (body temperature) every day of the year. Fabulous in winter!

And so to bed...

A top quality king sized bed, with freshly laundered linen, awaits you at the top of Fourteen’s original Victorian staircase. Plus lighting that’s as romantic as you feel.

Of course, you can go to bed whenever you and get up when you feel like it. Real freedom.

And we guarantee you will fall in love with the incredible shower and steam sauna cubicle, built specially for two. You may never want to leave it.

Out & About

Conwy is a treat in its own right, with its wealth of historic buildings, interesting shops and picture postcard harbour.

Fourteen is also the perfect base for adventures in Snowdonia and along the North Wales coast, with excellent walking, clean beaches, sailing, golf and activity sports all within a stone’s throw. Or you could just stay in and let the world outside roll by. Your choice.

Easy to Reach

No.14 is little over an hour away from Manchester or Liverpool by car. Yet it could be on a different planet. It’s also just a two minute walk from Conwy station, with London less than four hours away by train.

Please note, single night stays sometimes become available and are subject to a supplementary charge, please call for details and availability. Fourteen is set amongst the hustle and bustle of the busy town of Conwy and as such does not offer the same privacy and seclusion of our High Cabin. Please also note: Guests are required to check in at The Groes when photographic identification and a valid credit card will be required. We no longer offer sky tv at Fourteen.
